weekend snapshot: biking!

last saturday, after braving all the traffic jams in almost every road in the metro, we pushed through with our original plans of biking within the UP diliman campus. our new bikes, which doc bought for the family as advanced bf-gf anniversary gifts (yes, the little boy is now part of the anniversary gift-giving too! hehe), were due for road test. we got the bikes in quiapo last monday holiday. it was already getting dark then and we were already tired going around the metro that day so we decided to put off the road test until the next coming weekend. and so we did! as soon as i hit the pedals right into osmena and roxas avenues, i realized i missed biking that much. the kid in me just came out and enjoyed every minute of our biking getaway. it felt so good! words probably won't be enough to express how i feel that day, knowing that i relived my childhood days and i was spending some quality bonding time with my boys all at the same time. i know this won't be the first and last time we're going out to bike. the boys had a blast too! see how cool their bike is. ;) no pic for moi? yeah, maybe next time. i looked too harassed and exhausted to have a picture of my own biking. :p
